Acklins Island and Crooked Island
Acklins Island lies in a shallow lagoon called the Bight of Acklins in the southeastern part of the Bahamas chain. Acklins Island is one of a group
of which its neighbour, Crooked Island, is the largest.
Acklins Island has a coastline riddled with caves and bays and has a number of high hills and unusual rock formations. Acklins Island is perfect for sailing, bone fishing, deep-sea fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving and swimming.
Crooked Island forms the northwest part of the atoll system. Crooked Island is known for its natural beauty and quaint villages. There is a ferry service which runs between the two islands.
The beautiful white sands and tropical wildlife make either of these islands the ideal holiday location.
