The Bahamas
The Bahamas consist of two thousand keys and seven hundred islands and cays which form an archipelago. Many of these are uninhabited. The Bahamas are actually situated in the Atlantic Island but form part of the group known as the West Indies.
The Bahamas benefit from a subtropical to tropical climate and is moderated by the waters of the Gulf Stream.
The Bahamas have an international reputation for sailing. The Gulf Stream has accounted for a wide variety of marine life.
