Central America is divided into seven individual countries. Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. Occasionally Mexico is also included.
Central America is a narrow strip of land bordered by the Caribbean on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other.
On the Pacific side of Central America, the mountains and plains have little rainfall from December to April.
Central America has some extremely interesting sights and is an excellent holiday location.
