Dubai
Dubai is situated on the northeast coast of the United Arab Emirates. Dubai shares its borders with Abu Dhabi in the south, Sharjah in the northeast and the Sultanate of Oman in the southeast.
Dubai lies within the Arabian Desert of which the sand consists mostly of crushed shell and coral.
The city of Dubai was originally a small fishing village renowned for being a source of pearls. Nowadays Dubai is a bustling city and its endless white beaches, shopping malls and history make Dubai an excellent holiday location.
