La Gomera

La Gomera is the second smallest island of the Canary Islands situated in the Atlantic Ocean.

La Gomera is part of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and is divided into six municipalities. These are Agulo, Alajero, San Sebastian de la Gomera, Hermigua, Valle Gran Rey and Vallehermoso.

La Gomera is a volcanic island and the central peak is called "Garajonay". La Gomera has many deep ravines which are covered with a laurel rain forest.
