Greece
Greece is a land of history and culture. Situated in South Eastern Europe, is is bordered by Albania, Bulgaria and Turkey. The Aegean Sea lies to the east and south, followed by the Mediterranean while the Ionian Sea lies to the West. Mainland Greece is much greener and mountainous than the Greek Islands.
There are a wide range of resorts which offer beautiful sandy beaches, excellent food and drink and spectacular scenery and picturesque villages.
The capital city Athens is home to the Parthenon on the Acropolis. There are plenty of ferries between Mainland Greece and the Greek Islands.
