Malta is ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving as the waters are clear and blue and an attraction which should not be missed is the Blue Grotto. There are secluded bays and beaches while the towns offers a rich history reflected in the baroque churches, walled citadels and cobbled streets.

Malta is also home to some of the oldest free-standing structures in the world and is home to the Ggantiji temples on Gozo not to mention the Hypogeum, a temple / labyrinthine which harboured the bones of over 7000 people dating back to 3600BC.
